Reading Report #3 : The Perfect Song

    Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog!!! So in my class two days ago, I was introduced to a new reading web that is English e-Reader, basically it almost the same as ER Central but the English e-Reader has more books than articles and the story is longer. And I've tried to read some stories on English e-Reader and in this new Reading Report, I'll tell you a story and give the story a perfect soundtrack. Let's get started!

    The story is entitled "Girl Meets Boy", it is A2 level (elementary). It is written by Derek Strange and it's categorized as an adventure story. It consists of 7 pages, with a total of 2298 words.     This tells me the story of Donna and Mark, they were met accidentally on a boat to Spain, and they didn't know each other. But when Donna saw Mark for the first time she immediately fell in love with Mark, she liked his shy smile. On the other hand, Mark who looks shy and quiet, also like Donna for the first time he saw her, but in fact, they can't tell their feeling for each other. But one day, when they were in the same disco in the square at Comillas, they saw each other, and at that moment Mark dares to ask Donna to dance, so they were together at that moment without feeling awkward.

    Then, for the soundtrack of this story, I'd like to use Frankie Valli-Can't Take My Eyes Off You.

    It happened when Donna was staring around the boat, and she saw a tall, quiet boy in a blue and white shirt, he was a good-looking boy, and Donna keeps staring at Mark admiring his beauty.

You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much

    Donna danced with Dave (Mark's brother) at the disco. Mark saw them and he felt jealous. He wanted to hold Donna's hand and danced with her, but he was preceded by his brother.

The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak

    When they were at Comillas, Mark didn't do anything. He didn't want to talk or eat or dance or laugh, he just thought about Donna a good looking girl with her sight.

Now that I've found you stay
And let me love you, oh baby

    At last, Mark can meet Donna in the disco at Comillas, he feels happy. And finally, they were together at that moment.

    I think Frankie's song will suitable for this story because it is relatable and describe the story well and it can make you feel the atmosphere when falling in love with someone at first sight.💘
